Car owners often tend to darken their car windows. This protects the people in the cabin, as well as the transported valuables from prying eyes and prevents the penetration of sunlight. In addition, many believe that a tinted car looks more presentable. However, the procedure for performing such a tuning element is quite painstaking and requires adherence to some subtleties. The following is a detailed description of the entire course of work, and in particular, it tells how to tint the rear window. It is necessary to perform manipulations with an assistant.

- distillation;
- hair dryer;
- office knife.
A solution prepared with the use of a washing shampoo should be poured into the spray bottle: 5 drops of the product in one and a half liters of water.
As for the film itself, it is not permissible to use every material. When asked whether it is possible to tint the rear windows, the law answers that in such places any tinting is permissible, except for a mirror one.
Cutting out the film
Cutting the film of the desired shape is carried out on the outer surface of the glass, which must first be washed with the prepared solution. A sponge is used to remove dirt. Dry from the soap composition, the glass can be wiped with a wiper or soft distillation.
When starting to make a workpiece, it is necessary to correctly position the film. It should be turned towards you with the adhesive side covered with a protective layer. The roll is rolled horizontally on the moistened glass. The material is cut with a knife with a spade behind the transparent area of the glass. Excess film is neatly removed.
Care should be taken to ensure that the pattern does not have horizontal folds. Vertical ones, formed due to the convex shape of the surface, need to be smoothed out. For this, a hairdryer and plastic distillation are used. By acting on the film with an air jet, it is necessary to level the material at the same time. In this case, the film must not be overheated. Movements should be made in the direction from the center.
After these actions, the pattern will take the shape of glass and it will remain to be finally cut from all sides, going a few millimeters behind the transparent surface. For better performance, it is recommended to provide interior lighting.
Fixing the film
The glass is also well washed from the inside. In doing so, care must be taken not to damage the heating filaments. The rear shelf should be protected against dripping liquid. Before fixing the film, the glass is well watered from the spray.
Then it is necessary to separate the protective layer from the pattern, immediately spraying the opening adhesive surface with the solution. Slowly, avoiding bending and twisting, the workpiece should be brought into the salon. It is unacceptable to touch clothes and foreign objects with it, since any adhering particles will be clearly visible after tinting.
Having applied the film to the prepared glass, you need to smooth it with a wiper or soft distillation. Then, by hard distillation, it is necessary to remove air bubbles and liquid remaining between the glass and the film. In hard-to-reach places along the edges, it is preferable to wield a plastic spatula or forcing with a long handle.
At the last stage, for better fixing, the film is pressed around the perimeter from the inside, while the outside of the glass in these places is warmed up by a hairdryer.
