The difference between an object and a subject.

  • Animation. The object is usually inanimate (food, labor, social goods). At the same time, if the action is directed specifically towards people (assistance of a social worker to a specific person), then we can say the opposite. The subject is always endowed with reason and will, which indicates the presence of consciousness characteristic of living beings (child, politician, official) or offspring of society (unitary enterprise, non-profit organization).
